Italian DJ and producer Nihil Young, born Mattia Marotta, began releasing electronic music in August 2010. He co-founded Frequenza Records and owns Frequenza Limited, establishing himself as both an artist and label operator. Young also releases music under the aliases Less Hate and Mattia Marotta, accumulating 76 releases across his career spanning over 14 years.
Young's sound centers on melodic house and techno, with releases spanning tech house, progressive house, and peak time driving techno. His music appears on established labels including Einmusika Recordings, Zerothree, SHÈN Recordings, and Tulipa Recordings, alongside his own Frequenza imprint. The Italian producer maintains consistent output, with his most recent release dropping in November 2024, demonstrating his continued activity in the melodic and driving sides of contemporary house and techno.
