Nikola Gala

Nikola Gala is the stage name of Greek producer Nikos Galatsopoulos, born in 1980. He began producing music in 1995 and started DJing in 2000, launching his recording career with his first release in November 2009. Gala operates under the alias Source Unknown and founded the label Escada Music. Over his 15-year recording career, he has released 43 tracks across various imprints.

Gala produces primarily peak time driving techno, deep house, tech house, and melodic house & techno. He releases music on established labels including New Violence Records, Metropolitan Limited, MATTER, Admaiora, and Sleaze Records UK. His sound ranges from the deeper, groove-oriented house tracks to harder-edged techno designed for peak time dance floor moments. His most recent release appeared in August 2024, demonstrating consistent output across the house and techno spectrum with productions that span from underground deep house to driving techno suitable for main room settings.
