Noizu is the moniker of Damian Rhodes, a DJ and producer based in Los Angeles, California. Rhodes runs the Techne label and began releasing music under the Noizu alias in June 2019. He operates as a solo artist within the LA house scene, building his catalog across both his own imprint and established labels.
Noizu produces tech house and bass house, releasing music on Techne, Insomniac Records, Trick, and Catch & Release. His sound spans from driving tech house to heavier bass house variations, with releases that cater to peak-time dancefloor moments. The project maintains consistent output through his own Techne imprint while securing placements on Insomniac Records, providing DJs with club-ready tracks that bridge underground tech house sensibilities with more accessible house grooves.
