Northern Lite

Northern Lite is a German electronic group from Erfurt, Thuringia, formed in 1997 by Sebastian Bohn, Andreas Kubat, and Larry Lowe. The trio originally consisted of Bohn as DJ, Kubat as vocalist, and Lowe as guitarist until Lowe departed in 2004 to pursue a solo career, replaced by Sascha Littek. The group's current guitarist is Frithjof Rödel, with Valerian Herdam also listed among their members.

Northern Lite operates across melodic house and techno, deep house, indie dance, and tech house territories, releasing music on labels including Skull And Bones, Sincopat, and Dust & Blood. Their sound incorporates downtempo elements with house and techno foundations, maintaining vocal components that distinguish them from purely instrumental electronic acts. The group has maintained consistent output since their first electronic music release in October 2009, with their catalog spanning over fifteen years and extending into 2025, demonstrating their sustained presence in the German electronic music scene.
