Not Operated is the electronic music project of Eric William Brown, a drummer, audio engineer, and video game composer based between Nashville and Denver. Brown operates under several aliases including Rainbowdragoneyes, Bellik, and Vandalet, and previously owned and operated a recording studio. The project began releasing electronic music in April 2025 with seven releases documented through February 2026.
Not Operated's sound spans electronica, raw deep hypnotic techno, peak time driving techno, and bass club music, with all releases appearing on the S-Limited label. The project draws from Brown's background in soundtrack composition and ambient music, translating his audio engineering expertise into club-focused productions. His releases demonstrate a range from introspective electronica to high-energy peak time techno, suggesting versatility across different segments of electronic dance music programming.
