Occibel is French producer Corentin Chantrelle, based in Paris. He began his musical journey in 2012 and started releasing music commercially in 2020. In 2022, he co-founded Roulade Records with friends before establishing his own label Playfool Records in 2024. Since 2020, he has released seven tracks across various labels including Hoarder, Pilot UK, and Curation Best Of 2025.
His sound spans minimal/deep tech and deep house territories, blending electro funk, deep house, and progressive house elements. Occibel's productions sit comfortably in the deeper end of the house spectrum, making them suitable for both peak-time and after-hours sets. His releases on labels like Hoarder and Pilot UK demonstrate his ability to craft tracks that work across different contexts within the underground house scene. His music maintains the groove-focused approach typical of French house production while incorporating the stripped-back aesthetics of minimal techno.
