OceanLab

OceanLab is a London-based vocal trance project formed in 2000, comprising Above & Beyond members Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki alongside vocalist Justine Suissa. The group operates as a collaborative effort between the established progressive house trio and the British singer, creating a distinct vocal-driven approach to trance music that emerged from the UK's electronic music scene at the turn of the millennium.

The project specializes in vocal trance and dream trance, delivering uplifting compositions that blend progressive house foundations with ethereal female vocals. OceanLab releases exclusively on Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, maintaining a close relationship with Above & Beyond's label network since their first documented release in January 2024. Their sound occupies the main floor trance territory while incorporating progressive house elements, creating tracks that function both as emotional listening experiences and dancefloor moments. The group's approach to female vocal trance emphasizes melodic progression and atmospheric builds, positioning their releases within the uplifting trance spectrum that Anjunabeats has cultivated over the past two decades.
