OFF / GRID

OFF / GRID is the techno project of Robert Lienau, a Hamburg-based producer who began releasing music in March 2023. Operating from Germany's electronic music hub, Lienau has established OFF / GRID as a prolific outlet for what he describes as "fast-paced techno," accumulating 24 releases across multiple respected underground labels within his first years of production.

OFF / GRID's sound spans raw and hypnotic techno through to peak time driving cuts, with releases appearing on Planet Rhythm, Fides, UNCAGE, Safe Space, and Life In Patterns. The project explores both the darker depths of deep techno and the euphoric heights of raw trance, while also venturing into melodic house and techno territory. Lienau's rapid-fire release schedule demonstrates a producer focused on high-energy dancefloor functionality, crafting tracks that move between hypnotic minimal textures and driving peak time anthems designed for maximum club impact.
