Oliver Ho

Oliver Ho is a London-based producer who debuted on Blueprint Records in 1996. He founded his own label Meta in 1997 and later established multiple sublabels under the Meta umbrella to accommodate his diverse electronic output. Ho operates under several aliases including Birdland, Id, and Life, allowing him to explore different facets of his production style across various projects.

Ho's music spans peak time driving techno and raw deep hypnotic techno, with releases appearing on Blueprint Records, Passarella Records, and ePM Music. His sound incorporates tribal elements with experimental touches, drawing from jazz, funk, fusion, and rock influences to create a dancefloor-oriented approach that maintains avant-garde sensibilities. His production style has evolved from his Blueprint debut toward what he describes as funky tribal techno, balancing accessibility with unconventional sonic elements across his extensive catalog.
