Omis is the project of Steve LaRusso, an Italian producer who began releasing electronic music in July 2019. LaRusso also operates under the alias Steve "Lil' Italy" LaRusso and has maintained a consistent output with nine releases documented across various underground labels.
Omis specializes in peak time driving techno and raw deep hypnotic techno, delivering high-energy tracks designed for club environments. LaRusso has released music on labels including Kneaded Pains, Crash!, Codex Recordings, Unrilis, and EI8HT, establishing connections within the underground techno circuit. His sound focuses on driving rhythms and hypnotic elements that cater to peak hour DJ sets, with releases spanning from 2019 through 2025 showing a commitment to the harder, more intense spectrum of contemporary techno production.
