Oneohtrix Point Never

Oneohtrix Point Never is the main recording alias of Brooklyn-based experimental musician Daniel Lopatin, who began performing under this moniker in 2007. The Massachusetts-born producer originally operated under the name Magic Oneohtrix Point Never, derived from a radio jingle for Boston station Magic 106.7 that he heard while growing up in Winthrop. Lopatin also releases music under the aliases Dania Shapes and KGB MAN.

Oneohtrix Point Never produces ambient and experimental electronic music that spans drone, glitch, and electronica territories. The project releases primarily on Warp Records, with nine releases documented on Electrobuzz between 2015 and 2025. Lopatin's compositions typically operate at slower tempos with atmospheric textures, incorporating manipulated samples, synthesizer drones, and processed field recordings. His work moves between meditative ambient passages and more rhythmically complex electronic arrangements, often featuring unexpected sonic juxtapositions and nostalgic elements drawn from 1980s and 1990s popular culture.
