Ortella is the project of Fabrice Gagne, a DJ and producer from Lyon, France. He began releasing music in December 2014, establishing himself within the French electronic music scene over a five-year period that concluded in September 2019.
Ortella produces deep house and house music, releasing tracks across four labels including Mad Recordings, Rutilance Recordings, STRCTR, and Madhouse Records. His sound operates within the deeper spectrum of house music, maintaining the genre's characteristic four-on-the-floor rhythms while incorporating the atmospheric elements typical of deep house. Over seven releases between 2014 and 2019, Gagne developed a consistent approach to house production that appeals to DJs seeking melodic, groove-oriented tracks for extended sets.
