Orti

This group is not actually called orti – rather, saxophonist Guillaime Orti is one of the four Belgian musicians who make up the jazz/improv quartet Kartet, which has an idiosyncratic sound all its own. The rest of this group of Paris-based musicians, who have made many recordings separately and together, are the well-known Benoit Delbecq on piano along with Herbert Dupont on bass and Benjamin Henocq on drums and percussion. This group now has five recordings out, the most recent of which is The Bay Window, released in 2007 on the Songlines label. Read more on Last.fm.
