About
Øsc is the techno project of Riccardo Ruggeri, born in Messina, Italy in 1991. Ruggeri created the Øsc alias in 2018, also performing under the name Rich Hardt. The Italian producer began releasing music in May 2020 and has maintained steady output with six releases through early 2025.
Øsc produces raw, deep, and hypnotic techno alongside peak time driving tracks that span the harder spectrum of the genre. His releases appear on Circular Limited, KHOROS RECORDS, and BAHN· Records, labels that specialize in uncompromising techno for club environments. The sound ranges from atmospheric, hypnotic compositions suitable for deeper sets to harder-edged peak time material designed for main room floors. Since launching the project, Ruggeri has developed a consistent approach to techno production that balances cerebral depth with dancefloor functionality.
