Out of Sorts

Out of Sorts is a house DJ duo from Auckland, New Zealand, consisting of members Hayden Strom and Barton Strom. The group began releasing music in 2017 and has operated under several aliases including Antix, Pylon, and Fiord. Between 2017 and 2019, they released five tracks across multiple electronic music labels.

Out of Sorts produces melodic house and techno with elements of tech house and progressive house. Their releases have appeared on Beat & Path, ZEHN Records, Balance Music, and Audiomatique Recordings. The duo's sound spans tribal house, deep house, and tech house territories, delivering tracks that sit comfortably in both underground and progressive house sets. Their discography demonstrates a focus on groove-driven productions that work across different tempos and energy levels within the house music spectrum.
