Overmono

Overmono is a Welsh electronic music duo consisting of brothers Ed Russell and Tom Russell, operating under their respective aliases Tessela and Truss. The group formed in 2015 and takes its name from Overmonnow, the Monmouth suburb where both brothers grew up. They run their own label Poly Kicks and began releasing music as Overmono in February 2017.

Their sound spans electronica, techno, melodic house, and leftfield house territories, drawing from UK garage, breakbeat, and ambient influences. Overmono releases music on XL Recordings, Whities Recordings, and Fabric alongside their own Poly Kicks imprint. Their productions range from downtempo electronica to peak-time driving techno, often incorporating breakbeat rhythms and garage-influenced percussion patterns. The duo has maintained consistent output with 23 releases tracked through 2025, demonstrating versatility across both club-focused tracks and more experimental downtempo material.
