Oxigen Artist Bio

There are at least two artist going under the name Oxigen:

1) A Russian Industrial band

2) Oxigen is a Catalan pop-rock group that originated at the end of December 2019 as a version group with the name Sound On, having as a reference current artists such as Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga or Stay Homas, but also music groups and singers of the 20th century such as Radiohead, Amy Winehouse or The Clash.

Their first single was released on November 20, 2020 and was entitled Desitjos, the music and lyrics of which were created by Girona singer and composer Miquel Abras, a song which was selected as the song of the day on Catalunya Ràdio.They won the 5th contest of new groups in Vilablareix in May 2021.

In July they published their second single titled Una Cançó per Tu, recorded in the Girona rehearsal rooms Marfà as they were one of the winners of the #Talentbucs 2020 competition held during the pandemic by Les Cases de la Música Girona.

In 2021, they released their third single, “Somriure”.

Their carol “It’s Christmas (na,na,na)” was the soundtrack to the video of the Christmas 2022 campaign by TV Girona.

On June 27, 2023, they published their first album titled [alnum artist=oxigen]No Fa Tant, with 7 songs that mix pop, rumba, havanera, electronica and disco.
