Pablo Bolivar

Pablo Bolivar is a Spanish electronic music producer and DJ from Santander who has been active since 2009. Born in 1981, he studied sound engineering at Barcelona's Crash Institute, graduating in 1998, and later worked as a sound engineer before joining Decoder Muzique. Bolivar is part of the producer duo Pulshar and co-founded the label Avantroots in 2009, followed by his own imprint Seven Villas in 2014. He has released music under several aliases including Paper, Mind Groove, and Velmann.

Bolivar's sound spans deep house, melodic house and techno, minimal/deep tech, and organic house/downtempo, with releases on labels including Seven Villas, endless, Moodmusic, Peppermint Jam, and Culprit. His productions typically feature warm, atmospheric textures that work across different energy levels, from contemplative downtempo pieces to driving melodic techno tracks suitable for both home listening and dancefloor settings. With 99 releases tracked since his 2009 debut, Bolivar has maintained consistent output through 2021, establishing himself as a versatile producer capable of moving between introspective deep house and more upbeat melodic techno depending on the context.
