Pan

Pan emerges from the German electronic music scene, comprising members Tassilo Ippenberger, Thomas Benedix, and Marco Resmann, who formed the project after meeting at Marco Resmann's Audio Gain Studio in Berlin. Ippenberger, born at lake Chiemsee in Bavaria, and Benedix from Templin both relocated to Berlin where they enrolled in electronic music producer classes at SAE before connecting with Resmann. The trio began their journey organizing their own party series, with their collaborative project officially launching in 2010 when they issued their first release.

Pan delivers driving techno and tech house productions that span peak-time and hypnotic territories, with their 53 releases since 2010 demonstrating consistent output across the underground circuit. Their music appears primarily on Second State Audio and Second State, alongside releases on Pan-Pot, Mood, and Watergate Records, establishing their presence within Berlin's techno infrastructure. The group's sound encompasses minimal deep tech and raw hypnotic techno, with occasional deep house excursions, maintaining the driving energy characteristic of contemporary German techno while exploring deeper, more introspective sonic territories that work equally in peak-time and after-hours contexts.
