Pangaea

Pangaea is the electronic music project of Kevin McAuley, a UK-based producer who began releasing music in 2014. McAuley operates under his real name as an alias and has established connections with several respected underground labels since his debut release in June 2014.

His sound spans house and techno territories, ranging from peak-time driving techno to raw, deep, and hypnotic variations. Pangaea releases music through Hessle Audio, Hadal, and fabric Records, three labels known for their selective curation of forward-thinking electronic music. His productions demonstrate a shift from earlier dubstep and post-dubstep influences toward more club-focused house and techno formats, with twelve releases spanning over a decade of activity through 2025. The music maintains the intensity and bass-weight sensibilities of his UK electronic music background while adapting to four-four kick patterns and extended arrangements suited for extended DJ sets.
