Patrice Scott

Patrice Scott is a Detroit-based DJ and producer who launched Sistrum Recordings in 2006. He also releases music under the alias Rechord and began his documented catalog in 2014 with his first release on July 4th of that year.

Scott produces deep house and techno with driving, peak-time energy that spans from bass-heavy club tracks to more atmospheric house compositions. His releases appear on Sistrum Recordings and Freerange Records, with his sound moving between deep house grooves and harder-edged techno designed for peak dance floor moments. His production style maintains the Detroit electronic music tradition while incorporating contemporary bass and club elements that work across both house and techno sets.
