Paula Temple

Paula Temple is a Manchester-born producer and DJ now based in Berlin who began releasing music in 2002 with her debut EP "The Speck of the Future" on Materials. She co-developed the MXF8, one of the first live performance MIDI controllers, which she toured with from 2003 to 2005. Temple also produces under the alias Jaguar Woman and runs her own label Noise Manifesto. Her career spans over two decades of electronic music production and live performance innovation.

Temple's sound centers on driving techno that ranges from peak-time club tracks to raw, hypnotic compositions. She releases on prominent labels including R&S Records, 50 Weapons, and Eotrax, with her work appearing on Jeff Mills' Exhibitionist DVD. Her productions lean toward hard techno territories while maintaining deep, hypnotic elements that work across different sections of a DJ set. Temple's output demonstrates consistent evolution within the techno spectrum, delivering both floor-ready peak-time material and more introspective electronic compositions that showcase her technical background in music technology.
