Berlin-based producer Sascha Dornhöfer operates under the alias pdqb, alongside alternative monikers Perzeptiverdampfkesselqualmtbesinnlich and Aipd Q41/B47. He began releasing music in February 2025, building a catalog of 13 releases exclusively on his own label Synaptic Cliffs through March 2026.

pdqb's sound spans electro and techno territories, moving between classic Detroit electro influences and driving peak-time techno. His productions incorporate elements of melodic house and indie dance, while maintaining the raw, hypnotic qualities found in deeper techno variants. The Synaptic Cliffs releases demonstrate a consistent approach to both introspective and dance floor-oriented material, with tracks that shift between contemplative melodic passages and harder, more direct club constructions.
