Perc

Perc is the techno project of London-based producer Alistair Wells, who founded his label Perc Trax in 2004 as a platform for his own productions. Wells operates under several aliases including Spartak and Votion, and has built Perc Trax into a respected imprint featuring multiple artists beyond his own work. His first tracked release appeared in March 2010, and he maintains an active release schedule with upcoming material planned through April 2025.

Perc delivers peak time driving techno and hard techno with industrial influences, characterized by raw, hypnotic elements that work across varied BPM ranges. His 70-release catalog spans multiple respected labels including his own Perc Trax, plus Stroboscopic Artefacts, POSSESSION, Void+1 Recordings, and South London Analogue Material. The project incorporates IDM and noise elements into its industrial techno framework, creating tracks suitable for both peak-hour dancefloor moments and more experimental sets. His sound maintains consistent intensity while exploring different facets of harder techno subgenres.
