Perdu is the project of Dutch producer Alain Raoul, based in Amsterdam. He began releasing music in 2018, debuting on Live At Robert Johnson with his first recorded output. Since then, he has established connections with several respected electronic music labels across Europe and beyond.
His sound spans indie dance, afro house, house, and peak time techno, creating music that works across different dancefloor contexts. Perdu releases on Live At Robert Johnson, Lets Play House, Heist Recordings, and This Is Our Time, labels known for their discerning approach to contemporary house and techno. His productions blend the rhythmic complexity of afro house with the driving energy of peak time techno, while incorporating the melodic sensibilities of indie dance. Between 2018 and 2022, he maintained steady output across these imprints, developing a sound that moves between deeper house territories and more driving techno arrangements.
