Pete Josef

Pete Josef is a UK-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who began releasing electronic music in 2012. He fronts and co-produces the lo-fi house duo Franc Moody with Ned Franc from the band Husky Loops, and has collaborated with drum & bass artist LTJ Bukem. In 2014, Josef toured as bass player and guitarist with Crazy P's live band during their summer season.

Josef's music combines jazz, soul, pop and electronic elements across house, deep house, indie dance and Afro house territories. He has released on established labels including Get Physical Music, Sonar Kollektiv, Skint Records and Anjunadeep since his 2012 debut. His productions typically feature warm, mid-tempo grooves that blend live instrumentation with electronic production, drawing from his background as a multi-instrumentalist. Josef maintains an active release schedule with 11 releases spanning over a decade, with his most recent work scheduled through 2025.
