Phasic 18

Phasic 18 is the techno duo of Marcos Marra from A Coruña and Ema Rodrigues from Buenos Aires, both now based in A Coruña, Spain. The project emerged from their friendship and shared dedication to electronic music since the late 1990s, with their first release appearing in May 2024. The duo focuses on what they describe as abstract and mental techno with powerful percussions.

Their sound spans raw, deep, and hypnotic techno alongside peak time driving variants, designed for maximum dancefloor impact. Phasic 18 has released music on respected labels including trau-ma, Fanzine, CMND CTRL, and Soma Records, establishing themselves quickly in the underground techno circuit. Their productions emphasize heavy percussion work and abstract elements, delivering the kind of cerebral yet physical techno that works equally well in intimate club settings and larger warehouse spaces.
