Phil Weeks

Phil Weeks is the real name of Philippe Benkemoun, a French DJ and producer based in Paris who founded Robsoul Recordings. He operates under the Maya alias as well, establishing himself as a solo artist who began releasing music in March 2010. Weeks runs his own label empire through Robsoul Recordings and its subsidiary Robsoul Essential, maintaining control over his artistic output while supporting other artists on his roster.

His sound spans house and deep house territories with excursions into tech house and peak-time techno, delivering 66 releases across his decade-long career that ended in November 2020. Weeks releases primarily on his own Robsoul imprint and Robsoul Essential, though he has also appeared on Rex Club Music and Flashmob Ltd. His productions typically favor groove-heavy house rhythms with French touch influences, maintaining consistent energy levels suitable for both intimate club settings and larger dancefloor environments.
