Photonz

Photonz is a Portuguese DJ and producer from Lisbon who began releasing music in 2010. Marco Rodrigues operates as the sole member behind the project, serving as co-founder of online radio station Rádio Quântica and maintaining residency at Lisbon's Mina parties. He founded the Paraiso label and co-established creme organization alongside Miguel Evaristo, positioning himself within Lisbon's underground electronic music infrastructure.

His sound spans peak time techno and house across 12 releases on labels including Unknown to the Unknown, his own Paraiso imprint, Solar Phenomena Music, creme organization, and Tripalium Records. Photonz produces driving techno designed for peak hours alongside more experimental electronic material and bass-heavy club tracks. His output maintains consistent activity from 2010 through 2024, with releases ranging from dancefloor-focused singles to full-length album projects that explore broader electronic territories beyond the club context.
