Piemont

Piemont is a Hamburg-based group that began in 2007, originally consisting of Christian de Jonquières and Frederic Möring-Sack. The duo started releasing music in December 2009 and remained active until 2017, accumulating 61 releases across their career. Frederic Möring-Sack left the project in 2019, leaving Christian de Jonquières to continue under the Piemont name.

Their sound spans tech house, deep house, and minimal deep tech, with releases on respected labels including Lapsus Music, Definition:Music, Materialism, 303Lovers, and Glasgow Underground. Piemont's productions lean toward driving peak time techno and house, delivering the kind of functional club tracks that work across different points in a DJ set. Their catalog demonstrates consistency in crafting tracks that balance minimal elements with tech house grooves, making their releases suitable for both underground club environments and festival settings.
