Pitto

Pitto is the alias of Dutch producer Geurt Kersjes, who operates from Utrecht in the Netherlands. Born in 1981, Kersjes began releasing music under the Pitto moniker in November 2009, establishing himself as a consistent presence in the European electronic music scene over the past fifteen years.

His productions span deep house, tech house, and indie dance, with recent ventures into peak time techno. Pitto has released music on established labels including Sonar Kollektiv, Heist Recordings, Diynamic, Defected, and OOSSHA, accumulating sixteen releases across these imprints. His sound typically operates in the 120-126 BPM range for house productions, with his techno work pushing into driving, peak-time territory above 128 BPM. The consistency of his output from 2009 through to scheduled 2025 releases demonstrates his sustained evolution within underground dance music circles.
