Plump DJs

Plump DJs is a breakbeat duo from London consisting of Lee Rous and Andy Gardner, who formed the project in 1999. The group operates as a breakbeat and progressive breaks DJ project, establishing themselves within London's electronic music scene over more than two decades of activity.

Their sound centers on breakbeat and progressive breaks, though recent releases on the 83 label show an expanded palette that includes house, deep house, jackin house, and melodic house & techno. The duo has released five tracks between August and December 2025, demonstrating a shift from their original big beat and breakbeat foundations toward more house-oriented productions while maintaining the rhythmic complexity of their breaks background.
