Policy

Policy is the moniker of Francis Hsueh, a New York-based electronic music producer and DJ who began releasing music in 2012. Hsueh operates his own Policy label alongside his production work, establishing himself within New York's electronic music community over the past decade.

Policy's sound spans house and deep house territories with forays into peak time driving techno, creating tracks that work across different points in a DJ set. His releases appear on labels including 100% Silk, Argot, and The Nite Owl Diner, alongside his self-titled imprint. The project has maintained consistent output since 2012, with his most recent release dropping in July 2024, demonstrating an evolving approach to electronic music production that moves between the deeper, more contemplative sides of house and the driving energy of techno.
