Politics Of Dancing

Politics of Dancing originates from Paris as a DJ and producer duo comprising Paco and David Matarasso, known by his alias S.M.A.L.L. Since 2021, the project operates as a solo act led solely by Matarasso following the departure of his collaborator. The artist runs Politics of Dancing Records and has maintained an active release schedule since debuting in September 2018, accumulating 13 releases across various labels.

The project delivers house music spanning minimal deep tech, deep house, tech house, and Afro house territories. Politics of Dancing releases music through their own Politics of Dancing Digital imprint alongside established labels including Robsoul Recordings, Locus, P.O.D CROSS, and Uvar. The sound encompasses both stripped-back minimal productions and groove-driven house tracks, with recent output showing exploration into Afro house rhythms while maintaining the project's foundation in deep and tech house aesthetics.
