Porteix is the project of Paul Porteix, a French producer based in Bordeaux who began releasing music in 2019. He performs modular live sets and has released eight tracks across labels including Flash Recordings, ARTS, and Illegal Alien Records.
Porteix produces raw, deep, and hypnotic techno alongside peak time driving material. His sound centers on modular synthesizer work that ranges from stripped-back hypnotic loops to more driving club-focused tracks. Flash Recordings, ARTS, and Illegal Alien Records have released his material, with his output spanning from February 2019 through early 2026. His approach combines the spontaneous nature of modular synthesis with structured techno compositions designed for both intimate listening and peak-time dance floors.
