PROFF

PROFF is the stage name of Vladimir Ershov, a Russian producer from Moscow who later relocated to London. He also releases music under the alias Soultorque and began his discography in October 2021 with his first documented release.

PROFF creates progressive house and melodic house & techno, with additional forays into deep house and organic house downtempo styles. His releases appear on major electronic labels including Anjunabeats, Anjunadeep, Monstercat, and Melody Of the Soul, as well as his own imprint Protagonist Recordings. His progressive house tracks typically feature melodic structures suited for peak-time DJ sets, while his organic house productions lean toward deeper, more atmospheric territory. With 17 releases spanning multiple Anjuna Music Group labels, PROFF has established himself within the melodic progressive house circuit that appeals to both club and festival environments.
