ProOne79 is the alias of Gioele Cantoni, a DJ and producer based in Sardinia, Italy. His involvement with electronic music dates back to the mid-1990s, rooted in the era's hedonistic house and acid scenes. Cantoni began releasing music under the ProOne79 moniker in April 2024, accumulating 12 releases across multiple underground labels within two years.

ProOne79's sound spans raw, deep, and hypnotic techno alongside tech house and minimal deep tech, with occasional ventures into electronica and traditional house. His releases appear on labels including Kneaded Pains, AREA MUSIC, WRKTRX, Flashmob Records, and My Techno Weighs A Ton. His sets blend underground cuts from house, techno, Italo disco, and Chicago acid, reflecting his oldschool sensibilities. The music maintains the raw energy of 1990s underground scenes while incorporating contemporary techno production techniques, positioning his sound within both nostalgic and modern contexts.
