Ray Mono, real name Paul Raymond, is a Liverpool-based producer who began releasing electronic music in 2017. He operates under his primary alias Ray Mono as well as his birth name Paul Raymond, and runs the mono_cult label alongside his production output. Since his debut release in May 2017, he has accumulated 30 releases across various imprints over an eight-year span.
Ray Mono produces minimal and deep tech alongside deep house, house, and tech house tracks that span underground dance floor territories. His releases appear on mono_cult, hedZup records, Locus, Avotre, and Nofitstate, with his catalog extending through October 2025. His sound operates within the deeper spectrum of house music, incorporating minimal techno elements and tech house rhythms that cater to extended DJ sets and late-night club environments.
