Re-Tide

Re-Tide is a Rome-based trio comprising Andrea Prezioso, Patrizio Mattei, and Danny Omich. The group focuses on revisiting underground music from the early 1970s and 1980s, creating dance music edits for contemporary club audiences. Re-Tide began releasing music in March 2025, with their output spanning 14 releases over the following year through March 2026.

Re-Tide produces house music across multiple subgenres, including tech house, jackin house, funky house, and Afro house. Their releases appear on labels There Was Jack, Mattei & Omich Music, and HouseU Tunes. The trio's approach centers on reworking vintage underground tracks into club-ready formats, drawing from decades-old source material to create contemporary house productions. Their sound incorporates the rhythmic elements and groove patterns characteristic of classic underground dance music, adapted for modern dancefloor contexts.
