Redlight is Hugh Pescod, a UK producer who began releasing music in 2013 and operates between Bristol and London. Born in 1980, he also records under the aliases Clipz, Humanoid, and Mindgame, establishing himself across multiple electronic music scenes since 2010.
His sound spans house, deep house, melodic house & techno, raw techno, and UK garage, releasing on labels including Lobster Boy 3, Unknown to the Unknown, and dftd. Redlight's productions navigate bass-heavy territories with house sensibilities, crafting what he describes as music "between house, bass and beyond." His 14 releases demonstrate a range from garage-influenced tracks to deeper techno explorations, maintaining the energy and jet-propelled dynamics that initially caught the attention of Skream, Annie Mac, and Mark Ronson in his early career phase.
