Reducs

Reducs, the alias of Wijbe Jan De Jong, began releasing electronic music in 2019 with his debut on Trapez. Since establishing his presence in the underground scene, he has maintained a consistent output with five releases across multiple respected labels in the techno and house circuits.

Reducs operates primarily within peak time driving techno and raw deep hypnotic techno territories, with occasional ventures into house music. His releases appear on Trapez, Raise Recordings, and Complex Textures, labels known for supporting darker, more industrial-leaning electronic music. The driving techno tracks typically sit in higher BPM ranges suitable for peak club hours, while his raw and hypnotic material explores deeper, more meditative tempos that work effectively in extended DJ sets. His sound maintains the hard-edged precision expected from the Trapez roster while incorporating the textural depth characteristic of his other label homes.
