Responder
About
Responder is a producer and live act duo from Bielefeld, Germany, consisting of Benjamin Sanker and Rico Henschel. The project began releasing music in November 2015 and has maintained a steady output across seven releases through January 2022.
Their sound centers on peak time driving techno and raw deep hypnotic techno, built for dance floor impact with driving percussion and hypnotic sequences. Responder releases on established techno labels including Planet Rhythm, FLASH, and UK-based Sleaze Records. Their productions maintain the energy levels and tempo ranges suited for peak hour DJ sets, with a focus on the harder, more industrial side of contemporary techno that works equally well in warehouse spaces and club main rooms.
