rhubiqs is the solo project of London-based composer and sound designer Tom Squires. The British artist emerged on the electronic music scene in March 2025 with his debut release and has since maintained consistent output throughout the year, culminating in his most recent release in December 2025.

Squires produces across multiple electronic genres, ranging from raw and hypnotic techno to deep house and Afro house, alongside electronica and both classic and modern electro. His music has found a home on the respected Affin label, known for its forward-thinking electronic releases. The artist's sound draws comparisons to Actress and incorporates ambient influences reminiscent of Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works, creating atmospheric compositions that blur the lines between club-ready tracks and experimental electronic music. With nine releases in his debut year, rhubiqs demonstrates a prolific approach to production while exploring the intersection of dance floor functionality and ambient textures.
