Rick Wade

Rick Wade, born Richard Lee Wade Jr., is an American deep house producer and DJ from Buchanan, Michigan who now operates from Detroit. Wade began his career in the mid-1980s while studying at the University of Michigan, gaining his first gigs at the Nectarine Ballroom alongside Jeff Mills. He started releasing music in 2010 and has since accumulated 67 releases across the electronic music spectrum. Wade performs under aliases including Dr. Low-Tech and Big Daddy Rick.

Wade's sound spans deep house, house, and peak-time techno, with occasional forays into indie dance territory.
