Rico Puestel
🇩🇪About
Rico Puestel, real name Rico Friebe, is a German producer and live act from Kiel who began releasing music in 2010. Born in 1986, he operates under several aliases including Central Scrutinizer, Dinamoe, and Elco. Over the past 14 years, he has built a catalog of 70 releases across prominent labels in the German electronic music scene.
Puestel's sound spans deep house, tech house, and peak time techno, with recent ventures into melodic house and techno territory. His releases appear on respected imprints including Cocoon Recordings, Harthouse, Exhibition, SOSO, and TAU. His productions range from driving techno cuts designed for peak time club moments to deeper, more intricate house tracks that work across different parts of the night. His output demonstrates a consistent evolution from traditional house structures toward more driving, peak time-oriented material while maintaining melodic sensibilities throughout his discography.
