Rising Sun

Rising Sun is the electronic music project of Berlin-based producer and DJ Steffen Laschinski, who also performs under the aliases Steven Young and Steffen Laschinski. Active since 2009, Laschinski has released five recordings on the Electrobuzz platform, establishing himself within Berlin's electronic music scene over the past fifteen years.

Rising Sun's sound spans deep house, ambient, and peak time driving techno, with releases appearing on respected labels including Fauxpas Musik, Freude Am Tanzen Recordings, and Echocord. His productions range from atmospheric deep house suitable for warm-up sets to driving techno tracks designed for peak time dance floors. The project's catalog demonstrates versatility across house and techno tempos, with his most recent release appearing in March 2024, maintaining consistent output throughout his career.
