Robert Babicz

Robert Babicz was born in 1973 in Niemodlin, Poland, and moved to Germany in 1980, now residing in Cologne. He began releasing music in 1993 under his real name and various aliases, most notably Rob Acid. In 1994, he co-founded Systematic Recordings with Michael Zosel, later establishing its sublabel Four Music. Babicz founded his own imprint Babiczstyle in 2010, followed by DIRT CUTS in 2015 specifically for Rob Acid releases.

Babicz produces tech house and driving techno alongside deep house and broader house releases, with 116 releases documented since 2009. His music appears on respected labels including Bedrock Records, Selador, Traum, and Tulipa Recordings, in addition to his own Babiczstyle imprint. His productions span peak-time driving techno and more contemplative deep house territories, maintaining consistent output through 2018. The German-based producer also operates as Atlon Inc. and Pumpgun Pro, demonstrating his range across different electronic music contexts.
