Roche

Roche is the electronic music project of Ben Winans, an artist originally from the San Francisco Bay Area who currently resides in Portland, Oregon. Winans is also a member of the duo Run The Length Of Your Wildness and has been releasing music under the Roche moniker since 2014. He operates as both a producer and DJ within the underground electronic music scene.

Roche's sound spans deep house, house, and peak time driving techno, with releases appearing on labels including 100% Silk and Jacktone Records. His productions range from the subdued grooves characteristic of deep house to the harder-edged rhythms of driving techno, making his catalog suitable for both intimate dancefloor moments and peak-time club sets. Over his decade-long career, Roche has maintained a consistent output that bridges the gap between house music's more contemplative side and techno's driving intensity, with five releases documented through early 2025.
