Roman Flugel

Roman Flügel is a German electronic music producer born in Darmstadt on May 5, 1970. A longtime Frankfurt resident now based in Berlin, Flügel has been active since the early 1990s and co-founded the now-defunct labels Ongaku Musik, Klang Elektronik, and Playhouse. He currently operates the Sister Midnight label and releases music under aliases including Eight Miles High, Roman IV, and ro70.

Flügel's music spans deep house, tech house, and driving techno, with releases appearing on respected labels including Dial, Hardworksoftdrink, Mule Musiq, and Live At Robert Johnson since 2010. His productions range from deeper, groove-oriented house tracks to more driving peak-time techno, reflecting his versatility across multiple electronic music contexts. The German producer maintains consistent output across these genres, with his most recent release appearing in 2020 after a decade-long catalog of varied electronic music releases.
