Romanthony

Anthony Wayne Moore, known as Romanthony, was a house producer from New Jersey who began releasing music in 2013 through Electrobuzz's catalog, though his career started much earlier with the launch of his own label Black Male Records in 1991. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1967, Moore operated under several aliases including Lifestyles, Phatt Pussycat, and Romanthony's Nightvision. He founded World Records in 1995 and DigiTalent in 2004, establishing himself as both an artist and label owner in the house music scene.

Romanthony's sound spans deep house, house, tech house, and afro house territories, with releases appearing on Glasgow Underground and Nervous Records. His vocal style drew comparisons to Prince, and he co-wrote and performed vocals on Daft Punk's "One More Time" in 2000. His Electrobuzz releases from 2013 to 2025 demonstrate an evolution through various house subgenres, maintaining the soulful vocal approach that defined his earlier work. Moore passed away in Austin, Texas in 2013 at age 45, though posthumous releases continue to appear through 2025.
